In your spare time, you’ll have an opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city that launched the American Revolution. While Boston is a setting that is rich in history, it has also transformed into one of America’s most modern cities. Change is the watchword in old, historic Boston and Logan Airport is no exception. Over the past 10 years Massport and our airline partners have invested more than $4.4 billion to transform an airport with just a 1,700 acre footprint into a modern international gateway. With new and renovated terminals, more efficient roadways, expanded parking and more customer amenities than ever, we set a new all-time record for passengers last year.

During your visit to Boston in September, my staff and I will be pleased to show you how Massport literally built a brand new Logan airport on top the old, as well as showcase those projects that have earned Logan national acclaim in airport security, environmental responsiveness, and ease of access for the more than 28.1 million passengers who traveled to and from Logan last year.
