A Taste of Boston’s Italian North End
(full-day tour)

Monday, September 22

Take pleasure in a 3-hour sensory walking tour of Boston’s authentic Italian neighborhood.  On the tour you’ll walk along the narrow streets of the North End to visit old-world food markets.  The secret of Italian cuisine is the quality of ingredients, a pride in regional tradition and the Italian love of life.  This tour will introduce you to America’s oldest Italian neighborhood, and reveal the hidden formula for a delicious Italian meal!

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, it is time to relax and enjoy a meal at Piccolo Nido with proprietor Pino Irano.  Raised in a small town near Napoli, Pino believes in serving the freshest foods with simple ingredients and preparation that are true to their roots.  Nothing is prepared in advance and each dish is carefully cooked in its own pan.  Sauces are light to ensure that the true flavor and aroma of the main dish comes through perfectly.  Mangia!
