Conference & Exhibition
Every
year, ACI partners with a different region to hold a conference and
exhibition.
The ACI World/North America Conference & Exhibition will be held
from September 21-24, 2008 at the
Hynes
Convention Center, bringing together approximately 2,500 senior
airport managers for a series of lectures and panel discussions
involving key issues in the industry. In addition to the meetings, a
large aviation industry trade show will be held at the Hynes.
ACI
Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, ACI focuses primarily on
international aviation issues while concurrently supporting the
services and programs of the members in each of its five regions.
Global issues are addressed through the integrated ACI structure,
giving each region a voice through its representation on the
ACI Governing Board.
ACI-NA
The Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA)
represents local, regional and state governing bodies that own and
operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada.
ACI-NA’s membership consists of 174 airport operators with 366
airports in the U.S. and 49 airport operators with 180 airports in
Canada. Nearly 400 aviation-related businesses are also members of
the association. The
mission of ACI-NA is to advocate policies and provide
services that strengthen the ability of commercial airports to serve
their passengers, customers and communities.
